After visiting the Maryland LBPH, I was surprised when we introduced the variety of services they offer to assist the blinds. There are actual guidelines for running the library to the blind people, we saw the children section how it was organized and include different kinds of books that are designed only for blind kids, and the computer station to train volunteers, which all computer are loaded with assistive technology tool like Jaws.
Another thing that caught my attention is the use of Braille books and the digital talking books that were placed in the low floors. I think they are a huge help to the blinds who knew Braille. What I believe is the best value in Maryland LBPH is that they offer free services to the blinds, and there are going on activities such as the announced movie on the 22nd of March, which introduce how visually impaired persons can see a movie.
