Suggestions? Wal-Mart is a Americaninstitution.  Wal-Mart also occupies aunique position in our globe, by virtue of its size, reach and also responsibilityfor the livelihoods of millions ofworkers, and the needs of billions of consumers. In addition to overwhelminginfluence comes certain moral responsibilities.

Wal-mart is a Americaninstitution having well over 2.1 million employees.

Wal-Mart also occupies a uniqueposition in our world by virtue of its size, reach and responsibility for thelivelihoods of millions of workers and the needs of billions of consumers. Andwith such overwhelming influence comes certain moral responsibilities. (A Handshakewith Sam, n.d.).

The businessworld is facing many issues since the beginning. The underpay issue is one ofthe main issues that leads the workforce to rise against its own management.Although, the emerging strategies of the business world needs more virtueactions than vice but it’s practically not implemented. The moral virtues arehard to implement but their results are long lasting. The issues are alsoincreasing as the awareness increased about the rights of the employees. It isnot possible to change the business system within few years, as its the game ofdecades. The thing we can do is to implement the essential changes on localbasis and spread the awareness in this global village. There are fewsuggestions to improve the situation at local community first:

Announce bonusesand appraisal programs for those employees who contribute to moral values ofthe firm as well. Award “Hero of the Month/Year” to successful employee whichWalmart took away from it’s employees recently. Walmart can do what is right for the employeesinstead of putting themselves first. Virtuealways pays and vice is always punished, and always through natural mechanisms ratherthan by the action of any outside authority, much less divine authority. (Schwitzgebel, 2014).
